MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!!!
Hey guys!!! I hope you all are good. As we all are quarantined it has psychological impact on us. Its just like we are caged, stuck at home and due to the space we are facing problems like boredom, stress, frustration, infection, fears and these are actually long-lasting effects which disturbs our mental health.
What is mental health?
Mental health is not only about no mental illness , but it is also about how do you feel, what made you feel this way , and what does it make you want to do? There are more than millions of solutions on the internet to improve your mental health but have you ever thought are these solutions practical?
Here, are just few practical tips to improve your mental health and that's how I helped myself during my anxiety phase.
- Daily journals — This is the best way to help yourself and still my way to happiness. Just write what you feel because it cleans your mind and you actually forget things what you have written. The Best way to get rid of negative thoughts.
- Reduce negativity- Keep environment check because it has huge impact on your mental health. Cut toxic people or the ones who make you sad even if you are attached to them because they are the ones that teach us how to stay away from people and good things will start happening in your life , and it will not be a coincidence.
- Focus on self-care - Think about yourself first and honestly it's not being selfish in today's world because no one actually cares. Just keep your circle tight and know your real ones who actually love to hear you no matter what. If somebody treats you like the crap, without thinking for a second cut the chase and move on then and there.
- Nature- Water plants, walking in the nature, feeling the air , and playing with soil makes you feel more alive and connected to earth.
- Let go of expectations- Do good without expecting, just set small goals , and achieve them, take baby steps.
- Ask for help- Do you need help? then please ask for help, there's nothing to be embarrassed about. Connect with your family and friends.
- Read more- Reduce your screen time and read good books, don't focus or search sad quotes, etc because these things plant suicidal, depressing thoughts in your mind. Just accept your self and remember nobody is perfect!
So, this was it guys. Just little efforts to help you guys. And if you are facing any problem just mention in comment section, I'll try my best to help you guys. Love to everyone.
